Dallas Cowboys defeat against Giants ended the season for Cowboys

New York Giants triumph over the Dallas Cowboys, 31-14, Sunday night to seal the NFC East, to reach the playoffs for the first time in three years, which finished the Cowboys’ season

Dallas Cowboys, Tony Romo was hurting after the game. Romo’s injured right hand still was swollen after eight days he hit it on the helmet of an Eagles defensive end, but the pain Romo felt had nothing to do with the hand and everything to do with the loss to the Giants.

Romo said he did hard to get back in this football game. He did not feel good after losing; he fought really hard to put so much time and effort into being out in the field and playing his best. He obviously optimistic about football, he desire to continue to get better and progress, and will up to this off-season.

Romo injured his throwing hand on the fourth play of the Cowboys’ loss to the Eagles last week. He didn’t take any break and was bounded in practice.

Romo did his best to bring the Cowboys back from the dead, down 21-0 at the half. After completing 10 of 12 passes for only 91 yards against a ruthless Giants pass rush in the first half, Romo went 19 for 25 for 198 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in hurry-up mode in the second. Not bad, but not enough to carry a team that missed out on big plays when they could have turned the tides.

The Giants defense sacked Tony Romo six times, and the Giants finish second this season in sacks with four pass rushers or less with 34

Tony Romo needed a lot of time to find rhythm, and he was already 21-0 down by the time the Cowboys’ offense at last got going. Two Giants fumbles they should have improved and simply terrible tackling and defensive mistakes in the first half that put them out of the game.

For the Cowboys there was plenty of bad luck as the season came to a close. Tony Romo’s injuries, DeMarco Murray going down, leaving Felix Jones, never stellar as the only tailback. But there’s much more to Dallas’ collapse than bad luck.
